St. Cecilia’s celebrated Spirit Day on Tuesday June 6th. Faculty and students had a fantastic day with nine different games. A pleasantly cool day allowed all our games in the morning to be outside so there was plenty of room to enjoy each game. From toss the football through the circle, to tug of war, obstacle course, corn hole, the school-wide blue/gold over under ball relay, faces were smiling and everyone had fun.
Each class had lunch together with their teacher in areas of their choice. The afternoon brought a special delicacy as Mister Softee paid a visit and everyone received ice cream. The afternoon was filled with board games and movies in the classrooms.
A great BIG THANK YOU to all parents and former students who volunteered their time to run the games, making this enjoyable day possible. All our students are appreciative and were glad you were able to spend the morning with us.
