For the second year, the family of Ms. Sharon Rose Watson graciously awarded a scholarship in her memory, to a student entering the eighth grade in the fall. Ms. Watson was a teacher here at St. Cecilia’s. This scholarship will cover the tuition for the entire school year and is awarded for excellence in Language Arts as well as a love for reading. Mr. John Watson was present to speak with our students and present the scholarship. This year’s scholarship recipient is YanCarlos A. YanCarlos was very excited and surprised to hear his name announced. Once he received his award, YanCarlos was able to call his mom to give her the good news.
