The family of Ms. Sharon Rose Watson once again, graciously awarded a scholarship in her memory, to a student entering the eighth grade in the fall. Ms. Watson was a teacher here at St. Cecilia’s. This scholarship will cover the tuition for the entire school year and is awarded for excellence in Language Arts as well as a love for reading. This year’s recipient of the Sharon Rose Watson Memorial Award is Kyla McD. Kyla was very excited and surprised to hear her name announced. Once she received her award, Kyla was able to call her mom to give her the good news.
