Science Rocks

What an evening at the Catholic Schools Partnership Learning Center Campus on March 25th. Fourteen finalists from Holy Name, Sacred Heart, Saint Cecilia, and Saint Joseph Pro-Cathedral Schools gathered in Saint Anthony of Padua’s Community Hall to present their science fair exhibits. Our seventh grade students Benjamin and Amir, and, eighth grade student Kyla were participants. Every student in the competition did an excellent verbal demonstration of their project, answered questions from judges and visitors, and anxiously awaited which project would place first, second, and third as Catholic Partnership Schools Science Fair winners. It was clearly evident that all participants on this night, as well as all the middle school students from each school, worked diligently on their projects and all should be proud of their accomplishments. Thank you to the judges for your time and very hard job to come to your conclusion.

Congratulations to Benjamin for earning 2nd place in the competition and Amir for earning 3rd place. Each received a trophy and lab coat. Thank you, Benjamin, Amir and Kyla for your hard work and effort.

Parents, principals, teachers, and classmates came out to support their schools’ candidates who earned their way to the finals by placing in the top three at their schools.
